Since 2011, JAD, like countless Syrian families, communities, and institutions, has endured the deep fractures of a country in crisis. Our team and leadership were displaced; our collective resilience, tested. Yet our purpose, like our operations, held steadfast as we navigated the shifting logistical terrain of service provision in Syria while upholding our ethical commitments to Syrians.  Like so many of our compatriots, we never wavered in our belief that Syria is worthy of our effort, faith, and future. 

We continuously have updated our intimate knowledge of the local context and commensurately developed the necessary skills and expertise of our team. We cemented our old relationships with those who shared our values while cultivating new partnerships with those who shared our vision for the future. Our perseverance in the face of uncertainty and our flexibility to adapt to fluid circumstances owes entirely to the people and places that have always defined us. 

Today, JAD United Services is relaunching with renewed purpose and the same trusted team. Our focus is not only on restoring operations, but also on contributing meaningfully to Syria’s recovery. We are creating dignified employment opportunities; building local skills; and ensuring the transfer of generational knowledge everywhere we operate.
